REALIZED PROJECTS:


- The first realized project was PC and English language classes for 10 members of the association “FENIX”. Project lasted for two months, and was supported by the Canadian embassy in Belgrade (CIDA)

-During the micro project Study visit to ‘’Association of Students with Disability’’ Belgrade, “FENIX” sent seven its members on three-day visit to the association that has more experience with an aim to strengthen its capacities. During the visit, we saw students dormitory for the handicapped “Mika Mitrovic”. This project was supported by HI-SEE (Handicap International and Share-See) foundation.

-Third project was a campaign “With you” to raise the awareness of local community on handicapped. Project was supported by the Fund for the civil support from Serbia, and consisted of the promotions of the rights for the handicapped through medias (with experts from other areas and the association members), and also the distribution of advertising material (T-shirts, posters, handbills, etc)

-The fourth project was “East-west-north-south”, realized in the partnership of three organizations: Association of the Handicapped “I can do everything” from Sabac, Association of the Handicapped “Friend” from Majdanpek, and the Youth Association of the Handicapped from Podgorica. The project was realized on December 3rd - International Handicapped Day, and consisted of the distribution of advertising material- CDs and pamphlets.

-Fifth implemented project was “Without….” attended by the removal of the architectural barriers for disabled accessibility in the town. Tri ramps were built (on front door of Hotel Pirot, Dispensary and primary school “Dusan Radovic”). Project was supported by Ministry for labor, market and social politics SCG and Pirot Municipality.

-Sixth realized project was “I don’t want be alone…” attended by inclusion of disabled children in regular school through the classes of informatics and English language. The goal of this project was promotion of inclusive education for disabled children. Project is implemented in partnership with primary school “Sveti Sava” and financial supported by Ministry for labor, market and social politics SCG.

-Seventh project “Inaccessible” attended by promotion the right for free mobility disabled people through the four month campaign. Campaign was realized in Pirot and Bela Palanka Municipality. Campaighn is supported thry the Share-SEE project with financial supporting of Handicap International, DFID and Europian comision.
